Another mile stone for Delhi Patent Office. Patent office has started punching system. Now onwards, if you wants to meet an examiner or have some other work, you need to punch your card to get into the main building. This system will help office to keep a check on people. The cards has a specific number assigned to visitor. We expect more development at Delhi Patent Office in coming future.

This time patent agent exam has been delayed by Indian Patent Office But finally they are going to take in December 2008.
I have heard saying one of the controller that they had a lot of pressure to conduct this examination. The Controller also said that they may restrict conducting this exam onces in a year only from 2009 onwards.

If there is a possibility that a product infringes a patent, and if it is determined that there is no infringement, then an opinion is usually rendered giving this conclusion. You can prepare Freedom to Operate opinions for compositions and for processes.
